Jonatan Maidana hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Lothaire Maddox dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jose Boldu, 1-0. Leobardo Padierna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Van Ghele having to make a save. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leobardo Padierna to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Junior Busquets fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sven Van Ghele having to interfere. Fortun Bobes was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo ScrugenFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fortun Bobes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sven Van Ghele quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Leobardo Padierna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven Van Ghele. The goal made the score 1-2. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Zoil Pequeño replaced Leobardo Padierna. With his leg Sven Van Ghele managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Zeng Jian Cheng replaced Dustin Poirier. Sven Van Ghele made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Zoil Pequeño sent off a good shot on target. Zoil Pequeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven Van Ghele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, Garfield Watson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Fortun Bobes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortun Bobes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo ScrugenFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Lanús.
