An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Pechal in the 11th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavaliers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hamid Nony was slow to take the kick. During this time Super Penalitop's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Villamediana in the 16th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Super Penalitop's Carlos Claris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Super Penalitop from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Villegas in the 32nd minute of play forced Super Penalitop's goalkeeper Carlos Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd play minute Florencio Villegas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Claris. 1-3. Florencio Villegas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Claris came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Villegas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 36th minute. Cornelio Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pechal in the 40th minute of play. When Robbe Snow fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Super Penalitop's protests and gave Robbe Snow a yellow card for diving instead. Cornelio Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Pechal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naim Cheche in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Super Penalitop were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naim Cheche was the one to do the kick off. Cavaliers FC's Desiderio Rami was substituted for Florencio Villegas. Cavaliers FC's Marcos Arano was substituted for Teofilo Mikeldi. Adolfo Umea made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cecilio Feliz. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacob Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Villegas. That made the score 2-5 in the 68 minute of play. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Super Penalitop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Luna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Villegas made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jacob Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Carlos Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Desiderio Rami hit a great ball. The Cavaliers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Super Penalitop's performance. The match ended with a win for Super Penalitop.
