The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kjell-Arne Åberg came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Moodys IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Åberg couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Tabb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Azam Sum made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Ahmet Hayri Rıfat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Per-Olof Lundin put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Lenzi. With an all-out effort, G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C's Azam Sum threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Hayri Rıfat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moodys IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. John O'Neal was slow to take the kick. During this time G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Boris Browald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Lenzi was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, Mieszko Jaruzelski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moodys IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Mieszko Jaruzelski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azam Sum made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Jeronimo Tabb sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Moodys IF's Georg Allbom got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute Boris Browald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Lenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Lenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Åberg notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C's Leandro Lenzi. Leandro Lenzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Moodys IF were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Per-Olof Lundin struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Leandro Lenzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moodys IF. Leandro Lenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Lundin in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, G.I.S.B. Rammstein F.C's Den Gale got a free kick in the 58th minute. Azam Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Rowe in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Rowe in the 65th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azam Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Wolczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leandro Lenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Roy Rowe took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Azam Sum. Leandro Lenzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Tabb in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azam Sum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Lenzi had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Per-Olof Lundin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Per-Olof Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Moodys IF's Brian May nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Lenzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The Moodys IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
