With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Leheren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Eudoxio in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Leheren saved Deportivo Luz y Fuerza from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Guillermo Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiliz Mauleon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Casciano's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Miran Moco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute Edgard Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Miran Moco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Eudoxio took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Leheren. Martin Leheren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Casciano made a kick off. Edgard Eudoxio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Leheren having to make a save. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Eudoxio in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Eudoxio came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
