After 5 minutes, Acácio Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrapichel - FDFDF and the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Acácio Neto got a free kick in the 6th minute. Kléberson Camargo made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Acácio Neto immediately put the ball in play. When Abel de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrapichel - FDFDF's protests and gave Abel de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nildo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 minutes of play, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Nildo Alcântara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edson Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Nildo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Nildo Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Alcântara got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kléberson Camargo. After some careless play in the Carrapichel - FDFDF defense, Nildo Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson Bertassi. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson Bertassi should have stopped the shot. Rubinho Rosado struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Edson Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Nildo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Alcântara in the 52nd minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Edson Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edson Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Alcântara in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Alcântara got free with Edson Bertassi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diguinho da Mata came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrapichel - FDFDF's Abel de Barros. But to his dismay, Abel de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 64th minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Nildo Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edson Bertassi. Edson Bertassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Edson Bertassi was a little too slow when Nildo Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 74th minute David Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Cléber Santana was substituted for Nildo Alcântara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber Santana got free with Edson Bertassi in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edson Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber Santana's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Alcântara. With a little luck, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Edson Bertassi got control of the ball when Cléber Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Rogério Alcântara got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Cléber Santana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
