In the 3rd minute, Smoggy Hills hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Clue Team Challenge 2024's Guy Thorax got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clue Team Challenge 2024's goalkeeper O. M. G. DaRush, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wlodzimierz Absolwent lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. David Grijp charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Grijp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's David Grijp got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ralph Scholte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arty Eightman went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arty Eightman in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Scholte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gerrie Abbenbroek hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, Clue Team Challenge 2024's Guy Thorax shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ralph Scholte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clue Team Challenge 2024 reached it. In the 26th minute, Gerrie Abbenbroek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match Clue Team Challenge 2024 got a corner. Zijdewind SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robby The Rancher ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ralph Scholte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azure Meadow in the 39th minute of play. Guy Thorax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Arty Eightman sped through Zijdewind SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralph Scholte. David Grijp kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Azure Meadow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ralph Scholte made a huge save. In the 61st minute of the match Clue Team Challenge 2024 got a corner. Zijdewind SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robby The Rancher ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clue Team Challenge 2024's Snoop Fiddlefaddle was substituted for Diego Goalzalez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arty Eightman in the 64th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Ralph Scholte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Arty Eightman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Scholte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clue Team Challenge 2024's O. M. G. DaRush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Eusko in the 65th minute of play. Zijdewind SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Călin Melinescu in the 66th minute. Ralph Scholte made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Azure Meadow sent off a good shot on target. Ralph Scholte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manny Mills in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Rocky Ravine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Clue Team Challenge 2024 got a freekick which was hit by Rocky Ravine. In the 80th minute, Cyryl Siwy made a precise shot to the right of O. M. G. DaRush. Clue Team Challenge 2024's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ralph Scholte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Fiat in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Daniël De Leeuw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Thorax got free with Ralph Scholte in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquin Fiat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralph Scholte. That made the score 2-6 in the 94 minute of play. Ralph Scholte made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Azure Meadow sent off a good shot on target. Clue Team Challenge 2024's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
