Braulio Fero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Suero in the 13th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Gartzea to make the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Condado FC's Miguel Bastian made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Fero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualterio Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Tigres UANL defense, Miguel Bastian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Fero. The Tigres UANL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Fero should have stopped the shot.
