In the 5th minute, Dante Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Crescencio in the 6th minute of play. Club Atletico Cerillo's Nemesio Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute Segundo Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luis Angel Obregon fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Cerillo's protests and gave Luis Angel Obregon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Juan Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes, Alejo Crescencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tepic FC and the Club Atletico Cerillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atletico Cerillo's Dante Donzel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mario Ticho but with some difficulty. The supporters of Tepic FC booed when Club Atletico Cerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Segundo Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tepic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Cristo Loco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Cerillo's Emanuel Sesuldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Segundo Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Cerillo's goalkeeper Emanuel Sesuldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atletico Cerillo's Emanuel Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Salomone in the 46th minute of play.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tepic FC's goalkeeper Mario Ticho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nemesio Viviano might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Ticho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Viviano ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Cerillo's Nemesio Viviano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Ticho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Ticho having to interfere. Club Atletico Cerillo's Mariano Aznaro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Crescencio was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 67th minute, Dante Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Viviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristo Loco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Sesuldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Emanuel Sesuldo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juan Teodor. 78 minutes into the match, Mariano Aznaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Ticho. Tepic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Aznaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Juan Teodor hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Mariano Aznaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Ticho having to make a save. The supporters of Tepic FC booed when Club Atletico Cerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Angel Obregon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Club Atletico Cerillo got a freekick which was hit by Dante Donzel. Tepic FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Club Atletico Cerillo had won, even though Tepic FC had held more of the ball.
