In the 32ndth minute of the game Gaspar Pio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dynamo Zagreb Yum's Ingberg Guðmundsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Gamus hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Gaspar Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingberg Guðmundsson had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gaspar Pio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Gaspar Pio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ingberg Guðmundsson to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Pio was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Eulalio Panpili sped through FC Dynamo Zagreb Yum's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ingberg Guðmundsson. Ingberg Guðmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andoni Coro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Pio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ingberg Guðmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingberg Guðmundsson having to interfere. Caldao's Gaspar Pio got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andoni Coro during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caldao booed when FC Dynamo Zagreb Yum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andoni Coro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Caldao's Eulalio Panpili made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingberg Guðmundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Dynamo Zagreb Yum's Roberto Elequemedo got a free kick in the 90th minute. FC Dynamo Zagreb Yum's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
