The Grullork FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baybars Tanbolat should have stopped the shot. Steffen Gimlinge took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baybars Tanbolat. Baybars Tanbolat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 30 minutes into the game, Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baybars Tanbolat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After having played for 33 minutes, Steffen Gimlinge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Grullork FC got a corner. Cougars FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Azubeli ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Azubeli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnoud de Pelsmakere quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Steffen Gimlinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 38th minute of play forced Grullork FC's goalkeeper Baybars Tanbolat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybars Tanbolat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Grullork FC booed when Cougars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziyäddin Cabbarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baybars Tanbolat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Feliciano Frans came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cougars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Frans couldn't finish the play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Grullork FC defense, Feliciano Frans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baybars Tanbolat. The Grullork FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baybars Tanbolat should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cougars FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
