Orlando Shantala started the match with the kick off. Miguel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Verheydt in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Verheydt in the 6th minute of play forced Yaquis FC's goalkeeper Miguel Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Verheydt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Töpper in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yaquis FC's Orlando Shantala was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Freddie de Nooijer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Vampiros Aztecas's Freddie de Nooijer got control of the ball when Arın Ulubek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vampiros Aztecas's Freddie de Nooijer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Vampiros Aztecas from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Thomas Verheydt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Marin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the match, Yaquis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Resto came free, but Miguel Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yaquis FC's Leon Kaczeniak got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when Yaquis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Kaczeniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arın Ulubek got free with Freddie de Nooijer in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Vampiros Aztecas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Verheydt to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 51st minute of play. Thomas Verheydt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Marin having to interfere. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Baldomiro Martino with Israel Bernaldo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Miguel Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macedonio Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Miguel Marin made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Romulo Resto sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Miguel Marin managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Vampiros Aztecas's Romulo Resto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arın Ulubek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute Arın Ulubek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie de Nooijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Sule hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Miguel Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Hernandez in the 94th minute of the match. Thomas Verheydt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Miguel Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vampiros Aztecas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
