Cornelio Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni Qi Yuan in the 21st minute of the match. Moneyball Academy's Turgay Şeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Villegas in the 25th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Moneyball Academy's Cornelio Villegas threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ni Qi Yuan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moneyball Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ambrosio Iratxo was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavaliers FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cavaliers FC's corner Ambrosio Iratxo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Turgay Şeren quite easily take care of the ball. After 39 played minutes Moneyball Academy got a freekick which was hit by Moreno Veloz. Ambrosio Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Sebastian Bihar hit a great ball. Cavaliers FC's Victorio Mero was substituted for Ambrosio Iratxo. Turgay Şeren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute of the match, Desiderio Rami got a very nice opportunity to score, but Turgay Şeren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Moneyball Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cavaliers FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
