Luisinho Uribe started the match with the kick off. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hitz Toxeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitz Toxeiro in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barbudos FC's Hitz Toxeiro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Zdzislaw Slazak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehat Kovaçi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Luisinho Uribe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Furman. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Unai Papachronopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehat Kovaçi was the one to do the kick off. Ismael Furman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Uribe went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Beugnet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zdzislaw Slazak. That made the score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. Barbudos FC's Herberts Dreizis was substituted for Hitz Toxeiro. Barbudos FC's Nikifor Vardev was substituted for Luisinho Uribe. With his leg Zdzislaw Slazak managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Equipo's Bruno Beugnet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikifor Vardev in the 78th minute of play. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikifor Vardev, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 83 minutes of play, Barbudos FC's Nikifor Vardev made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Furman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltasar Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikifor Vardev in the 95th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barbudos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Equipo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
