Dursley's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolás Ochoa in the 6th minute. Sudbury AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 6 minutes into the match, Dursley's Leopoldo Ayala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Murgas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yasir Calderon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Enrique Gomez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Corpeño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mario Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Victor Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Pinho got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Victor Murgas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mario Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Murgas having to interfere. Sudbury AFC's Victor Murgas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Pinho in the 38th minute of play. If Fidel Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sudbury AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Januario Bentos hit a great ball. If Mario Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efren Espindola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sudbury AFC's goalkeeper Victor Murgas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Cetino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Corpeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efren Espindola in the 56th minute of the match. Mario Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Victor Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Efren Espindola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Murgas came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Dursley's Mario Sandoval. But to his dismay, Mario Sandoval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pablo Cetino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Corpeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Espindola in the 69th minute of play. When Sudbury AFC's Efren Espindola in 78 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Victorino Corpeño guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Pablo Cetino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Victorino Corpeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Corpeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Cetino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fidel Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Dursley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Pinho couldn't finish the play. If Mario Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Dursley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sudbury AFC throughout the match.
