Paolo Coreas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Llorente in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marvin Sanchez saved Halton Holegate City from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Halton Holegate City's Wilber Cetino got a free kick in the 11th minute. Arturo Guerra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marvin Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Santamaria in the 15th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Hugo Santamaria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, North Baddesley's Cristian Llorente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marvin Sanchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 30 minutes, Jhonnatan Rosales made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. North Baddesley's Paolo Coreas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilber Cetino during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilber Cetino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ruben Leiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Paolo Coreas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Llorente to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Llorente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Sanchez having to interfere. A collision led to Halton Holegate City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cesar Mayen hit a great ball. Dagoberto Escalante's late challenge caught a Halton Holegate City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Escalante helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Leiva in the 68th minute of play forced North Baddesley's goalkeeper Paolo Coreas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Hugo Santamaria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marvin Sanchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Ricardo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Halton Holegate City's Cesar Mayen tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paolo Coreas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Leiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The North Baddesley supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing North Baddesley would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
