Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henry Serrano made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Eraldo Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Zelaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Henry Serrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alvaro Molina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilmer Coreas charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilmer Coreas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Leek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Coreas to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Henry Serrano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alvaro Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Serrano in the 27th minute of the match. When Leek FC's Oswaldo Mendez in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turnpike Lane United's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Oswaldo Mendez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Zelaya. In the 34th minute Eraldo Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Zelaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Jose Carranza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Carranza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alejandro Zelaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Chavez to strike the kick off in the second half. Leek FC's Oswaldo Mendez got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the last second Alejandro Zelaya throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eraldo Chavez in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Henry Serrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Molina having to interfere. Leek FC's Alvaro Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Carranza in the 59th minute of play. Alejandro Zelaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Chavez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Chavez in the 64th minute of play forced Turnpike Lane United's goalkeeper Alejandro Zelaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Escalante hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Eraldo Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Chavez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Zelaya having to interfere. Leek FC's Eraldo Chavez got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Eraldo Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Chavez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Turnpike Lane United's goalkeeper Alejandro Zelaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eraldo Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Chavez in the 97th minute of play forced Turnpike Lane United's goalkeeper Alejandro Zelaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Leek FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leek FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
