Deris Flamenco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Pinho in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Avebury's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Pinho came free, but Deris Flamenco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Guatitlan booed when Avebury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Guatitlan's Reino Lundell made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deris Flamenco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richard Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Guatitlan got a freekick which was hit by Allan Fernandez.

The wind increased when Juan Iigo made the kick off in the second half. Elias Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Zapata in the 53rd minute of play. Richard Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richard Machado hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Allan Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deris Flamenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deris Flamenco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Elias Leiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
