When Hector Peredes fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Deportivo Ramón's protests and gave Hector Peredes a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CF Deportivo Ramón! Waldir Oporto came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Juniors's Jerry Dhanabalan. But to his dismay, Jerry Dhanabalan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Ahmet Efe Suheyl made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Oporto. CF Deportivo Ramón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Oporto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, CF Deportivo Ramón's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Suheyl came free, but Waldir Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Modet hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CF Deportivo Ramón's Marcos Guzman got a free kick in the 38th minute. Waldir Oporto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 39th minute of play. Ahmet Efe Suheyl hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Ahmet Efe Suheyl came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Real Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Efe Suheyl couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldir Castillo was the one to do the kick off. CF Deportivo Ramón's Milton Salazar got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Efe Suheyl took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Oporto. Waldir Oporto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Waldir Oporto was a little too slow when Ahmet Efe Suheyl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-5. Real Juniors's Roland Redondo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcos Guzman in the 74 minute of the game. Roland Redondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldir Oporto having to make a save. If Waldir Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes CF Deportivo Ramón got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Costas. CF Deportivo Ramón's Waldir Oporto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CF Deportivo Ramón from getting a goal against them. Waldir Oporto was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Ahmet Efe Suheyl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Efe Suheyl really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 87 minutes into the match, CF Deportivo Ramón's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Zdanowicz came free, but Waldir Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes CF Deportivo Ramón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Cabrera who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Real Juniors getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Yonko Tarchev hit a great ball. Real Juniors's Yonko Tarchev was, in the 88th minute, rewarded a free kick which he blasted straight towards the goal. The goalkeeper seemed frozen by the shot, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went outside of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldir Oporto. That made the score 0-7 after 90 minutes of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Ahmet Efe Suheyl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Efe Suheyl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
