Spectators: 10855 (Terracing: 8143, Seating: 2496, VIP seats: 216) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Waldir Castillo made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, CF Deportivo Ramón's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Jansson came free, but Waldir Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when CF Deportivo Ramón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Oporto was a little too slow when Zico Zellier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. With an all-out effort, GuateFortín's Waldir Oporto threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Edvin Jansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldir Oporto. Waldir Oporto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. CF Deportivo Ramón's Waldir Oporto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CF Deportivo Ramón from getting a goal against them. When GuateFortín's Zico Zellier in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF Deportivo Ramón's goalie prevented a goal. Waldir Oporto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Zellier's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The GuateFortín fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when GuateFortín's Zico Zellier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Zico Zellier took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Waldir Oporto to make any attempt to save it. After 22 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Jansson. 25 minutes into the game, Zico Zellier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldir Oporto. Zico Zellier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Zico Zellier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Oporto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. CF Deportivo Ramón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Trotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Trotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Waldir Oporto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 35 played minutes CF Deportivo Ramón got a freekick which was hit by Deris Bustamante. Waldir Oporto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Máximo Perrone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 36 minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Máximo Perrone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máximo Perrone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldir Oporto. Waldir Oporto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Máximo Perrone made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, CF Deportivo Ramón's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Perrone came free, but Waldir Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Waldir Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deris Bustamante in the 57th minute of play. Waldir Oporto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Perrone in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Máximo Perrone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Oporto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Castillo in the 61st minute of the match. Waldir Oporto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Perrone, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Alvarenga in the 66th minute of play forced CF Deportivo Ramón's goalkeeper Waldir Oporto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Oporto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Máximo Perrone's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Waldir Oporto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Marcos Guzman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Deportivo Ramón and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. CF Deportivo Ramón's Francisco Benavides was substituted for Hugo Ventura. GuateFortín made a substitution. Heriberto Correa replaced Angel Alvarenga. In the 73rd minute, Máximo Perrone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Oporto was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 76 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldir Oporto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Danilo Ocampo got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Milton Salazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nery Pumpido, 8-1. Waldir Oporto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Máximo Perrone made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Oporto. CF Deportivo Ramón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. Waldir Oporto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CF Deportivo Ramón's zone, Máximo Perrone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Oporto came out of the goal and Máximo Perrone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Máximo Perrone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Oporto was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. GuateFortín walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
