The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zico Zellier might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Gallardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Zico Zellier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Zellier came free, but Baltazar Gallardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Zico Zellier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Baltazar Gallardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, GuateFortín's Angel Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltazar Gallardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Baltazar Gallardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 18th minute of the match. Zico Zellier might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Gallardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zico Zellier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Gallardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltazar Gallardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zico Zellier in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Gallardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GuateFortín were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Trotta took the corner. Sven-Edvin Jansson made a great header on GuateFortín's corner, it was just that Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Baltazar Gallardo managed to reach the ball for a save. Baltazar Gallardo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Zico Zellier. But to his dismay, Zico Zellier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Zico Zellier put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Baltazar Gallardo. Baltazar Gallardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 39th minute of the match. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Baltazar Gallardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Perrone in the 41st minute of play. Baltazar Gallardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Perrone, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Máximo Perrone struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Baltazar Gallardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GuateFortín. Baltazar Gallardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zico Zellier went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The Soul´s Anchor Tattoo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GuateFortín were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Muñoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Perrone in the 51st minute of play forced Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's goalkeeper Baltazar Gallardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Trotta hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Baltazar Gallardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Soul´s Anchor Tattoo from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes in the game, Máximo Perrone fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baltazar Gallardo having to interfere. The GuateFortín fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when GuateFortín's Zico Zellier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GuateFortín made a substitution. Heriberto Correa replaced Angel Alvarenga. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Roberto Trotta. In the 74th minute, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Máximo Perrone took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Baltazar Gallardo to make any attempt to save it. When GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's goalie prevented a goal. After 83 minutes Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Najarro who took care of the corner kick. In the 92nd minute, Máximo Perrone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltazar Gallardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Perrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christian Najarro was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Christian Najarro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltazar Gallardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GuateFortín had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
