Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Fidel Noyola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cesar Verdugo, made in the 40th minute of the game. Joselito Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Baltazar Gallardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Soul´s Anchor Tattoo from getting a goal against them.

William Posadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Gallardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Posadas in the 60th minute of the match. If Victor Valenzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joselito Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's protests and gave Joselito Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Joselito Ortiz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Victor Valenzuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltazar Gallardo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Victor Valenzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Valenzuela in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Gallardo saved Soul´s Anchor Tattoo from getting behind. After 86th play minutes Victor Valenzuela shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Baltazar Gallardo and just under the crossbar into goal. William Posadas struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Baltazar Gallardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puerto San José.
