Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Granados to make the kick off. Nery Madrigal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chico Luna firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 56 minutes, Jim Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Ramon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Salvador Maldonado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Chiles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Ramon the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Los Chiles:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Ramon:s goal. Chico Luna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nery Madrigal in the 65th minute. San Ramon's Chico Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Granados in the 66th minute of play. Chico Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Granados in the 69th minute of the match. Chico Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macho Calderon in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ramon Granados took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Chico Luna to make any attempt to save it. Chico Luna made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Nery Madrigal sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Los Chiles's Nery Madrigal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chico Luna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5.
