The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Bernardo Calvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Enzo Francescoli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Sosa. Enzo Francescoli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Felipe Saenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. elclu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Hermosa FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes elclu got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Saenz. Bernardo Calvo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Nicolas Sosa made a huge save. Nicolas Sosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when elclu's Bernardo Calvo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Bernardo Calvo in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Sosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute, Enzo Francescoli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolas Sosa. The goal made the score 4-0. 44 minutes into the match, Playa Hermosa FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Sosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Calvo. After a rather tough play, Playa Hermosa FC's Alvaro Millot got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Calvo was the one to do the kick off. elclu's Bernardo Calvo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Francescoli in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Sosa saved Playa Hermosa FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Miguel Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, elclu's Enzo Francescoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Sosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Nicolas Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Francescoli in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Felipe Saenz suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 72 minutes, Ruben Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Hermosa FC and the elclu players grew even worse after the yellow card. elclu made a substitution. Romulo Rivas replaced Felipe Saenz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Calvo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Sosa saved Playa Hermosa FC from getting behind. After 81 played minutes elclu got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Calvo. After a defensive mix-up in Playa Hermosa FC's zone, Bernardo Calvo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Sosa came out of the goal and Bernardo Calvo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Playa Hermosa FC's Nicolas Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Francescoli in the 84th minute of play. Bernardo Calvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Sosa having to interfere. The supporters of elclu booed when Playa Hermosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Cubero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, elclu's Enzo Francescoli made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Sosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Calvo in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. elclu fully deserved thier win.
