Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Bolaños in the 3rd minute of play forced Pingones FC's goalkeeper Elmer Arrieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Chaclar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Paniagua in the 4th minute of play. Elmer Arrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Bolaños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elmer Arrieta came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Trontarius's Alexis Bolaños. But to his dismay, Alexis Bolaños quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elmer Arrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Bolaños, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Elmer Arrieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Aguilar in the 17th minute of play. Ronald Obando kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Isidoro Loria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berny Echeverri during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Pingones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berny Echeverri to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pancho Azofeifa to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Andrei Paniagua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trontarius's Orlando Chaclar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Giovanni Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmer Arrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Loria, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Orlando Chaclar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trontarius's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
