The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Lobo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the game, Nikos Valassiou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Amador. Nikos Valassiou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ernesto Monge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Ulloa's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Nikos Valassiou put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Amador. Hugo Amador took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Valassiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Dalkurd FC's Hugo Amador got control of the ball when Rodrigo Lobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Victor Luna. 38 minutes into the game, Agustin Barrantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hugo Amador was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustin Barrantes came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Amador could save by the left post. After 45 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Omar Guevara. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Rodrigo Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Amador saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Miguel Volio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Amador saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalkurd FC's Hugo Amador played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Volio in the 87th minute of play.
