Spectators: 9400 (Terracing: 7050, Seating: 2162, VIP seats: 188) Real Rosario Central's Leonel Chavarria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepe Sibaja during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real Rosario Central's Leonel Chavarria got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Guevara hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Emilio Maldonado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Soto went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bernardo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mena in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Real Rosario Central were awarded a corner. Leonel Chavarria went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Leonel Chavarria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Arias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emilio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmer Lozano in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Minor Godinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, LinuX F.C.'s Frank Soto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Maldonado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Frank Soto notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Real Rosario Central's Emilio Maldonado. Emilio Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minor Godinez in the 24th minute of play forced Real Rosario Central's goalkeeper Emilio Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when Real Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Soto in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Frank Soto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Maldonado. Real Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Soto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Frank Soto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Frank Ulloa suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 39th match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minor Godinez to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes, Minor Godinez made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Real Rosario Central's Emilio Maldonado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 played minutes Real Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Beto Alfaro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Elmer Lozano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Maldonado was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 53 minutes into the game, Elmer Lozano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Maldonado. Elmer Lozano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Emilio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minor Godinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Maldonado came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by LinuX F.C.'s Frank Soto. But to his dismay, Frank Soto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 64th minute, Minor Godinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Maldonado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Pepe Sibaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Emilio Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LinuX F.C.'s Manrique Medina was substituted for Frank Soto. 73 minutes into the game, Luis Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LinuX F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Real Rosario Central getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Luis Pinto hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, Real Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Lozano to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Berny Parra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Manrique Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Emilio Maldonado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Minor Godinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Emilio Maldonado made a huge save. After 90 minutes of play, LinuX F.C.'s Alfonso Mena made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Maldonado was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over LinuX F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Rosario Central throughout the match.
