Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xurdin Vicuña in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lopes Carral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lopes Carral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurdin Vicuña in the 6th minute of play. Lopes Carral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bikendi Rutges, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ixaka Terres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Transito Lesaca having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Bikendi Rutges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platillane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bikendi Rutges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Satordi Tome hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bikendi Rutges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lopes Carral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bikendi Rutges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Platillane got a corner. chtello's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ortzi Vilela ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Platillane's corner Ortzi Vilela fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lopes Carral quite easily take care of the ball. With 63 minutes on the clock, Gaxan Sesma commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 62nd minute, one of chtello:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for chtello. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Platillane. Ortzi Vilela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lopes Carral. 0-1. Behe Bellid kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Lopes Carral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bikendi Rutges in the 77th minute of the match. Lopes Carral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hug Prada, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. chtello's Lopes Carral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bikendi Rutges in the 84th minute of play. chtello's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Bikendi Rutges scored to the left of an out of position Lopes Carral, making the score, 0-2. chtello's Lopes Carral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bikendi Rutges in the 89th minute of play. Lopes Carral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bikendi Rutges in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Bikendi Rutges recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lopes Carral. Bikendi Rutges showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Platillane supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Platillane would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
