In the 8th minute, Miro Cortinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richie Hordoñez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Miro Cortinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richie Hordoñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miro Cortinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When SPORTING CRYSTAL's Bras Navia in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erauso Brunet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Paramo in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, SPORTING CRYSTAL's Guipuzkoa Saludes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richie Hordoñez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, SPORTING CRYSTAL's Guipuzkoa Saludes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richie Hordoñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Tongo were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after SPORTING CRYSTAL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loco Matas took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jairo Paramo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 38th match minute, SPORTING CRYSTAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Peñafiel to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Guipuzkoa Saludes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richie Hordoñez was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Richie Hordoñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miro Cortinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

51 minutes into the match, Tongo's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Cortinez came free, but Richie Hordoñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tongo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lorien Lorca hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Frederico Villafafila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richie Hordoñez skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Tongo's Jairo Paramo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Tongo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Haritzeder Ozaeta hit a great ball. Miro Cortinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPORTING CRYSTAL's Erauso Brunet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheche Gauna in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Benvide Palomeque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erauso Brunet came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Tongo's Inocente Vedeja. But to his dismay, Inocente Vedeja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Miro Cortinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richie Hordoñez having to make a save. Bras Navia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Richie Hordoñez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocente Vedeja in the 89th minute of play forced SPORTING CRYSTAL's goalkeeper Erauso Brunet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tongo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SPORTING CRYSTAL's performance. The match ended with a win for SPORTING CRYSTAL.
