Sporting Chilcano's Mendebal Meruendano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erez Marica in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute Erez Marica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendebal Meruendano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Intimos de Reynoso players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
