It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 8th minute, but Eraldo Guzman got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Variante Delta hanging dry this time. ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s Rolando Mackney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Hornilla in the 11th minute of play. Ye Yao Le hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Hornilla in the 14th minute of play forced ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rolando Mackney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Mackney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Hornilla in the 15th minute of play. If Caio Hornilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Hornilla in the 19th minute of play forced ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rolando Mackney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Variante Delta's Caio Hornilla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Mackney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Mackney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Hornilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Hornilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Mackney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Eraldo Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monico Roxas in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Caio Hornilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Variante Delta's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Hornilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Mackney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Hornilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Mackney having to make a save. Rolando Mackney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Hornilla in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Variante Delta's Caio Hornilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Mackney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 50th minute Variante Delta were awarded a corner. Ferdinand Bjørn went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Variante Delta's Güntekin Koca getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The ROYAL HAWKS F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Variante Delta were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Etxatxu Cintron made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Mackney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Erramu in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dalmau Trianes managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmau Trianes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Guzman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Ladislao Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Mackney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 73 in the game by Ladislao Erramu from a close distance when the talented Rolando Mackney managed to make a qualified save. ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s players were relieved. After 77 played minutes ROYAL HAWKS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fernado Gaitan. After a rather tough play, ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s Fernado Gaitan got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 86th minute, Ferdinand Bjørn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s Rolando Mackney didn't even have to move. When Oskarbi Piedrahita fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ROYAL HAWKS F.C.'s protests and gave Oskarbi Piedrahita a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes ROYAL HAWKS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Oskarbi Piedrahita.
