Tomas Brandt came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça. But to his dismay, Maurinho Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 7 minutes Claretiano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Agudo who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 12th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Brandt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon Fuenmayor went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 17 minutes of play, Claretiano FC's Lluc Alen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Brandt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute Alianza Trujillo were awarded a corner. Javier Agudo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Alianza Trujillo's corner Javier Agudo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Birila Graña quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute Jon Fuenmayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Mendonça in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Brandt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurinho Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, José Puch notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Claretiano FC's Birila Graña. Birila Graña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Miguel struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Birila Graña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza Trujillo. Alianza Trujillo's Frederik Orejo was substituted for Luis Miguel. Jon Fuenmayor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Tomas Brandt made a huge save. Maurinho Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tomas Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claretiano FC. After having played for 82 minutes, Javier Agudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza Trujillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Agudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Mbappè in the 84th minute of play forced Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Birila Graña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Kylian Mbappè left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza Trujillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 86 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Daunte Campuzano came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
