Spectators: 9275 (Terracing: 6958, Seating: 2133, VIP seats: 184) Monitor Huáscar's Higinio Belloso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Higinio Belloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monitor Huáscar's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Belloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Zdrobiş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lore Ziguenza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Verstappen in the 6th minute. Nistor Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Belloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute Higinio Belloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match, Bernt Van den Dries got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lore Ziguenza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lore Ziguenza was a little too slow when Bernt Van den Dries got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Constantino Carabajo replaced Higinio Belloso. In the 16th minute Ottó Fejes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Zdrobiş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ottó Fejes's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Nistor Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ottó Fejes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Lore Ziguenza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After taking down the ball on Alfonso Ugarte's corner Mikele Giurcă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lore Ziguenza quite easily take care of the ball. In the 36th minute Ottó Fejes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ottó Fejes scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nistor Zdrobiş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lore Ziguenza came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Alfonso Ugarte's Bernt Van den Dries. But to his dismay, Bernt Van den Dries quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Verstappen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ottó Fejes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Ottó Fejes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nistor Zdrobiş, 2-3. Nistor Zdrobiş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ottó Fejes went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Chiquito Rico replaced Ottó Fejes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquito Rico got free with Nistor Zdrobiş in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquito Rico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nistor Zdrobiş came out and tried to block the shot, but Chiquito Rico slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Alfonso Ugarte's Bernt Van den Dries got a free kick in the 76th minute. Monitor Huáscar's Mauro Bizi suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 82 minutes into the game, Antonio Benavente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfonso Ugarte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monitor Huáscar the free kick. Antonio Benavente hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquito Rico got free with Nistor Zdrobiş in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Santa María during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlo Santa María kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match.
