Andreas Verstappen started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alfonso Ugarte's Mikele Giurcă got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Verstappen in the 8th minute of play forced Overal Peru's goalkeeper Artuur Verheijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alfonso Ugarte getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bernt Van den Dries hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Andreas Verstappen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artuur Verheijt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bernt Van den Dries blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artuur Verheijt having to make a save. Bernt Van den Dries kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Rutenio Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Zdrobiş. Alfonso Ugarte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rutenio Galo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Overal Peru getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Montrell Verdenosa hit a great ball. Artuur Verheijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Verstappen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Bernt Van den Dries took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artuur Verheijt. Artuur Verheijt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

A collision led to Alfonso Ugarte getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mikele Giurcă hit a great ball. Alfonso Ugarte's Nistor Zdrobiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udalaitz Mariny in the 57th minute of play. Bernt Van den Dries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Artuur Verheijt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artuur Verheijt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mikele Giurcă. Bernt Van den Dries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Artuur Verheijt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nistor Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udalaitz Mariny, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Xzaver Cavadilla charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xzaver Cavadilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Xzaver Cavadilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernt Van den Dries blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artuur Verheijt having to make a save. Cordara Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nistor Zdrobiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artuur Verheijt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Van den Dries in the 86th minute. In the 94th minute, Alfonso Ugarte's Andreas Verstappen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Overal Peru lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
