UCV's Özcan Yoruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabel Almiron in the 6th minute of play. Bilbo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özcan Yoruç having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Spor Las Huevas's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Bingen came free, but Jacobo Autran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Spor Las Huevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabel Almiron to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bixintxo Arbieto in the 22nd minute of play forced Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Jacobo Autran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Autran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Malmonje went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Autran made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Eriberto Bingen sent off a good shot on target. Özcan Yoruç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilbo Bermudez in the 35th minute of play. Özcan Yoruç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilbo Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Benavente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Navarro Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Benavente to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Navarro Perez made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Spor Las Huevas's Jacobo Autran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Özcan Yoruç didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Spor Las Huevas's Carlo Citrullo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jacobo Autran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavon Pinazas in the 64th minute of play. UCV made a substitution. Raymon Alas replaced Javier Malmonje. Spor Las Huevas's Jacobo Autran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Autran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Perez in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Navarro Perez in the 88th minute of play forced Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Jacobo Autran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UCV booed when Spor Las Huevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Citrullo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spor Las Huevas's Piearres Holgado was substituted for Gonzalo Benavente. In the 89th minute, Carlo Citrullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
