With a little luck, Colón's Romel Zapata got control of the ball when Alejandro Zapata tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to CD Plaza Amador getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alejandro Zapata hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, CD Plaza Amador's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Herbruger came free, but Jerzy Jajesniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romel Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Shi Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ožbej Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Jajesniak having to interfere. Romel Zapata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ersen Cakir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Cai Shi Feng scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romel Zapata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colón's Romel Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersen Cakir in the 35th minute of play. When Luis Mendieta fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colón's protests and gave Luis Mendieta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Luis Mendieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Juan Herbruger notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CD Plaza Amador's Jerzy Jajesniak. Jerzy Jajesniak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ožbej Matos sped through CD Plaza Amador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Jajesniak. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ožbej Matos made the kick off in the second half. Juan Herbruger struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jerzy Jajesniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón. With a little luck, CD Plaza Amador's Jerzy Jajesniak got control of the ball when Ožbej Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 55th play minutes Cai Shi Feng shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Romel Zapata and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 58th minute, Cai Shi Feng made a precise shot to the right of Romel Zapata. Colón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 63 minutes into the match, Colón's goal looked a bit too open when Ersen Cakir came free, but Romel Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Colón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Herbruger to maneuver through the defense. Romel Zapata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cai Shi Feng's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes of play, CD Plaza Amador's Ersen Cakir made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romel Zapata was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Cai Shi Feng sped through Colón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romel Zapata. If Alejandro Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Ersen Cakir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romel Zapata was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. In the 80th match minute, Colón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azael Lao to maneuver through the defense. Ožbej Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucho Briceño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Romel Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romel Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucho Briceño in the 91st minute of play. Cai Shi Feng took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romel Zapata. Romel Zapata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. CD Plaza Amador's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
