Hector Peren started the match with the kick off. With 3 minutes on the clock, Alexis Amaya commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Delso´s Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! After 10 minutes, Rolando Aizprua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delso´s Team and the C.A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rolando Aizprua hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Javier Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alex Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomaso Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Reinaldo Centella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Petersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomaso Ulloa went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Luchito Smith fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delso´s Team's protests and gave Luchito Smith a yellow card for diving instead. Luchito Smith hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Javier Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Delso´s Team getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rolando Aizprua hit a great ball. Delso´s Team's Alex Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomaso Ulloa in the 35th minute of play. Alex Petersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomaso Ulloa went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luchito Cedeño hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomaso Ulloa to make the kick off. Delso´s Team's Américo Villarreal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Peren, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Aya Randa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Delso´s Team's Alex Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomaso Ulloa in the 55th minute of play. When C.A. Independiente's Tomaso Ulloa in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th minute Luchito Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Luchito Cedeño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delso´s Team and the C.A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Delso´s Team got a freekick which was hit by Luchito Cedeño. A collision led to Delso´s Team getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luchito Cedeño hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Tomaso Ulloa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delso´s Team's Alex Petersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomaso Ulloa struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Alex Petersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Independiente. The audience was convinced that Tomaso Ulloa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Petersson was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Américo Villarreal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over C.A. Independiente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Delso´s Team throughout the match.
