A nice corner shot did that Sergio Toledano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Benavides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 8 played minutes REAL COHOLICS got a freekick which was hit by Max Quiros. 14 minutes into the match, Humberto Escobar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramon Peralta. REAL COHOLICS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Escobar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Odén came free, but Ramon Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Leonidas Alejo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Humberto Escobar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramon Peralta. REAL COHOLICS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Escobar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 27 minutes of play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Peralta was left in no man's land by his defense there! REAL COHOLICS's Ramon Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Escobar in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Gonza Montiel got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ramon Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after REAL COHOLICS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonza Montiel took the corner. After taking down the ball on ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s corner Gonza Montiel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramon Peralta quite easily take care of the ball. Ramon Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonidas Alejo in the 40th minute of play. Ramon Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Ulloa in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Răducioiu got free with Juan Benavides in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

REAL COHOLICS's Marcos Fernández was substituted for Florin Răducioiu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Fernández to make the kick off. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Fernández in the 55th minute of play. After 58 played minutes REAL COHOLICS got a freekick which was hit by Brian Laudrup. 60 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Ramon Peralta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Escobar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marcos Fernández managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL COHOLICS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Fernández was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Benavides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Escobar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Ramon Peralta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juan Benavides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Fernández's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, REAL COHOLICS's Edward Wojton got a free kick in the 72nd minute. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ made a substitution. Giancarlo Mora replaced Matias Moreno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Fernández in the 76th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute REAL COHOLICS were awarded a corner. Sergio Toledano went to the cornerflag to take it. 80 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Fernández came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonidas Alejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Peralta came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonidas Alejo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Fernández in the 93rd minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Samuel McQuarrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Wojton in the 95th minute of the match.
