But to his dismay, Ivan Villarreal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Buenaventura FC's Rodolfo Dias in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REAL COHOLICS's goalie prevented a goal. If Kurt Angel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Villarreal in the 16th minute of play. Ramon Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Angel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Rodolfo Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Américo Oberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Peralta was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Ivan Villarreal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Rodolfo Dias made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Peralta. REAL COHOLICS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. REAL COHOLICS's Brian Laudrup was substituted for Edward Wojton. REAL COHOLICS's Ivan Amaya was substituted for Ivan Villarreal. REAL COHOLICS's Raul Bras was substituted for Jaime Corral.

If Kurt Angel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner ended in Rigoberto Lozano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but REAL COHOLICS's Ramon Peralta did a great save. Ramon Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Dias came free, but Ramon Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Pereira's late challenge caught a Buenaventura FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Smith in the 92nd minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Rigoberto Lozano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenaventura FC and the REAL COHOLICS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
