José Arauz came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by San Roque FC's Ildefonso Esiquio. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Esiquio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ildefonso Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Arauz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Gomez in the 21st minute of play forced San Roque FC's goalkeeper Igor Parzysz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Parzysz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Totin Garcia De Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Roque FC's Igor Parzysz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save San Roque FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, San Roque FC's Ildefonso Esiquio got a free kick in the 37th minute. Totin Garcia De Paredes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 42nd playminute. Igor Parzysz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Alejandro Zapata sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Möllgren came free, but José Arauz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Aserrío De Gariché F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Ortega. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

San Roque FC's Igor Parzysz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Totin Garcia De Paredes in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Fernando Valdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Valdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Hökqvist got free with José Arauz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s zone, Jan-Olof Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Arauz came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Carlos Gonzalez was substituted for Lucho Ortega. Igor Parzysz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Zapata in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Ildefonso Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Arauz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, San Roque FC's Gabriel Quintero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 80th minute of the match, Jan-Olof Möllgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Arauz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. José Arauz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Alejandro Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Zapata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Parzysz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Ramírezs short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got José Arauz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. San Roque FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
