The audience was convinced that Luis-Antonio Irabien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Zartucha was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Jaime Zartucha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavian Guinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to FIGURETY F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Valentim Rael hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Luis-Antonio Irabien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Zartucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FIGURETY F.C. were furious when Fricson Cubian was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FIGURETY F.C.! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Almendral. Luis-Antonio Irabien stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaime Zartucha. 0-1. Jaime Zartucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis-Antonio Irabien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Zeledon Mazule ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Zartucha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 29th minute, Luis-Antonio Irabien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almendral fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luis-Antonio Irabien scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Zartucha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Zartucha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Antonio Irabien in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Zeledon Mazule ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Zartucha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Cesario Dehesa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Camilo Cambas got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zeledon Mazule. If Zeledon Mazule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FIGURETY F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Almendral were winning 0-5.

Zorion Arizcun got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ismael Cuadrado. If Ismael Cuadrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Almendral's Zeledon Mazule ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaime Zartucha. Jaime Zartucha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Luis-Antonio Irabien received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Zartucha came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis-Antonio Irabien slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Almendral's Luis-Antonio Irabien ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaime Zartucha. Jaime Zartucha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis-Antonio Irabien in the 74th minute of play forced FIGURETY F.C.'s goalkeeper Jaime Zartucha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Mazule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Zartucha having to interfere. If Ismael Cuadrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Almendral's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Cuadrado came free, but Sanchez Melgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentim Rael took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sanchez Melgar. Almendral's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Almendral's Luis-Antonio Irabien got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jaime Zartucha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis-Antonio Irabien in the 84th minute of the match. Almendral's Sanchez Melgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Cuadrado in the 86th minute of play. Jaime Zartucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis-Antonio Irabien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis-Antonio Irabien in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Zartucha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Almendral's Luis-Antonio Irabien dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Almendral's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
