Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zabal Carral made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Guallupe got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguez Vozmediana. After a rather tough play, Villa del Rey's Xavon Matute got a free kick in the 9th minute. Juan-Carlos Truebano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodney Arnedo. Villa del Rey's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Zabal Carral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector-Luis Caseres kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Klimowitz Marsol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Cacho having to interfere. Zabal Carral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rodney Arnedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Cavallosa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes in the game, Zabal Carral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodney Arnedo having to interfere. Zabal Carral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rodney Arnedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Armando Cavallosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guallupe's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Cavallosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodney Arnedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Añe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodney Arnedo having to interfere. In the 45th minute Zabal Carral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klimowitz Marsol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Zabal Carral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodney Arnedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Añe went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th match minute, Villa del Rey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramos Erran to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Guallupe's Yaniusky Calzada shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodney Arnedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guallupe reached it. Walter Ezcurra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Armando Cacho made a huge save. Rodney Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Añe in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 played minutes Guallupe got a freekick which was hit by Ubelteso Trexo. Xavon Matute was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Villa del Rey's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Añe came free, but Rodney Arnedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodney Arnedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zabal Carral, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Rodney Arnedo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Guallupe's Zabal Carral. But to his dismay, Zabal Carral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Villa del Rey booed when Guallupe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguez Vozmediana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavon Matute was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Guallupe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
