The supporters of boca del pozo booed when Barcelona Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Segura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Palianzas short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Quintana Ibarzabal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Peter Palianza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, boca del pozo's Peter Palianza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quintana Ibarzabal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. López Antezana was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Camilo Calles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Segura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlos-Alberto Estebanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos-Alberto Estebanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Calles in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers López Antezana in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintana Ibarzabal saved Barcelona Sporting Club from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by López Antezana in the 59th minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Quintana Ibarzabal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Barcelona Sporting Club's Camilo Calles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Camilo Calles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Carlos-Alberto Estebanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo-Enrique Camerin charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo-Enrique Camerin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Barcelona Sporting Club's Delgado Penilla tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Barcelona Sporting Club players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented boca del pozo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
