Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) In the 5th minute, Arnoldo Maneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Espinola Erran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Purin -CR- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoverliz Barboa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Pradera's zone, Osvaldo Pi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blandón Icedo came out of the goal and Osvaldo Pi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Pradera's Blandón Icedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save La Pradera from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Desmond Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purin -CR-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Desmond Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blandón Icedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Pi scored 2-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blandón Icedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zaquiel Flayre fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Pradera's protests and gave Zaquiel Flayre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Pradera getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Zaquiel Flayre hit a great ball. Desmond Doherty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Blandón Icedo made a huge save. If Desmond Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Desmond Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Blandón Icedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Pi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Desmond Doherty reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blandón Icedo. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 47th minute Zaquiel Flayre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espinola Erran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desmond Doherty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Purin -CR- were awarded a corner. Americo Villariño went to the cornerflag to take it. Americo Villariño made a great header on Purin -CR-'s corner, it was just that La Pradera's Blandón Icedo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 55th play minutes Desmond Doherty shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Blandón Icedo and just under the crossbar into goal. When Desmond Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Purin -CR- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desmond Doherty couldn't finish the play. Desmond Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Maneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zaquiel Flayre kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Blandón Icedo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Purin -CR-'s Desmond Doherty. But to his dismay, Desmond Doherty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. With a little luck, Purin -CR-'s Espinola Erran got control of the ball when Ponce Londoño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blandón Icedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Doherty in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Zaquiel Flayre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blandón Icedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Pi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Purin -CR-'s Osvaldo Pi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blandón Icedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Arnoldo Maneiro's late challenge caught a Purin -CR-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Maneiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Pradera's Arnoldo Maneiro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Osvaldo Pi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Blandón Icedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Purin -CR- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
