After the first half Estela were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Estela's Angulo Lantadilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iza Iruz in the 62nd minute of play. Anibal Ybarbo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Victoro Abad sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Barbadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angulo Lantadilla having to interfere. Iza Iruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Angulo Lantadilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
