The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Polo Badas in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oso Figueruela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Voltaje FC booed when Cirquelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Goyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Machado Bejar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Voltaje FC's Oso Figueruela. Oso Figueruela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Polo Badas made a precise shot to the right of Oso Figueruela. Voltaje FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 12th minute Polo Badas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Figueruela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Voltaje FC defense, Teofilo Goyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oso Figueruela. The Voltaje FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oso Figueruela should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Terrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polo Badas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Figueruela having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Pedro Quiñones reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Pavieta. The goal made the score 1-3. When Tonio Corullon came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cirquelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonio Corullon couldn't finish the play. When Cirquelo FC's Polo Badas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Voltaje FC's goalie prevented a goal. Oso Figueruela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Polo Badas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Polo Badas made a precise shot to the right of Oso Figueruela. Voltaje FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Polo Badas to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tonio Corullon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oso Figueruela. Voltaje FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tonio Corullon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Machado Bejar's late challenge caught a Voltaje FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Machado Bejar helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Polo Badas got free with Oso Figueruela in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Tonio Corullon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oso Figueruela. That made the score 1-7 in the 58 minute of play. A collision led to Cirquelo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Tonio Corullon hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Tonio Corullon took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Oso Figueruela to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute, Cirquelo FC's Teofilo Goyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oso Figueruela. Oso Figueruela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. Voltaje FC's Oso Figueruela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Voltaje FC from getting a goal against them. Oso Figueruela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Goyo in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Voltaje FC's Pedro Quiñones got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute Polo Badas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Figueruela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Voltaje FC's Oso Figueruela got control of the ball when Daniel Terrilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Cirquelo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Voltaje FC throughout the match.
