Azulgranas's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanny Sabugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Boladeras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Łukasz Fabiański tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, K.R. FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Zust came free, but Cesar Boladeras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Boladeras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Zust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31stth minute of the game Boris Bouceda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Delmiro Salvadore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Łukasz Fabiański quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Łukasz Fabiański made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Garikoitz in the 34th minute of play. FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Loredo couldn't finish the play. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. K.R. FC's Cesar Boladeras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Tarresola in the 43rd minute of play. Julio Garikoitz's late challenge caught a Azulgranas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Garikoitz helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sánchez Castruita made a kick off. In the 51st minute Sánchez Castruita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Boladeras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sánchez Castruita in the 52nd minute of play forced K.R. FC's goalkeeper Cesar Boladeras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Bouceda got free with Łukasz Fabiański in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Freddy Loredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azulgranas's Ulises Terroba was substituted for Inocencio Tarresola. Azulgranas's Viteri Tio was substituted for Marco Zust. In the 62nd match minute, Azulgranas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabier Alejandre to maneuver through the defense. Łukasz Fabiański made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Boris Bouceda sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Julio Garikoitz made a precise shot to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. Azulgranas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 76th minute Julio Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, K.R. FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viteri Tio came free, but Cesar Boladeras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Julio Garikoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Łukasz Fabiański was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 91st minute, Victoriano Movilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Boladeras was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Azulgranas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching K.R. FC's performance. The match ended with a win for K.R. FC.
