The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Miralles in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marquez Ochoa saved SD Balda from getting behind. If Yépez Cotes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Miralles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marquez Ochoa. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Omar Miralles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marquez Ochoa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After taking down the ball on Almendral's corner Aurelio Martijana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marquez Ochoa quite easily take care of the ball. Santo Irazu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Marquez Ochoa. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-0 in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Almendral's Omar Miralles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marquez Ochoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Almendral's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelio Martijana in the 35th minute. Marquez Ochoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Miralles went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Miralles in the 88th minute of play forced SD Balda's goalkeeper Marquez Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, SD Balda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavian Prieto to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Omar Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almendral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquez Ochoa having to interfere. Almendral's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
