Spectators: 8506 (Terracing: 6380, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 170) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sánchez Alcano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mane Varandalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sánchez Alcano in the 6th minute of the match. Sánchez Alcano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Mane Varandalla made a huge save. The supporters of G2O booed when Atahualpa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeruko Vital didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sánchez Alcano in the 15th minute of play forced Atahualpa SC's goalkeeper Mane Varandalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, G2O's Zuzen Gama made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mane Varandalla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Zeruko Vital hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mane Varandalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuzen Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Flavio Cotarelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atahualpa SC and the G2O players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atahualpa SC's Flavio Cotarelo got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Sánchez Alcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mane Varandalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sánchez Alcano in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mane Varandalla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mane Varandalla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 43rd match minute, Atahualpa SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Zulueta to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, G2O's João Modrić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mane Varandalla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elkin Lucena to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Zulueta during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mane Varandalla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeruko Vital hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Zuzen Gama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G2O fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Mane Varandalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuzen Gama, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Elkin Lucena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Lupea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. João Modrić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When G2O's Sánchez Alcano in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atahualpa SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 76 minutes, Xavion Velis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atahualpa SC and the G2O players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mane Varandalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sánchez Alcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Flavio Cotarelo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Mane Varandalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Modrić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Escanciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mane Varandalla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Escanciano ran back to his position shaking his head. Mane Varandalla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Modrić went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. João Modrić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mane Varandalla having to make a save. Sánchez Alcano struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mane Varandalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G2O.
