Monge Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 18 played minutes Sal Rom F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Cortinas. Monge Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Mendivil in the 19th minute of play. When Barcelona Sporting Club's Alper İpekçi in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 40 played minutes Sal Rom F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xantalen Peinado. 41 minutes into the game, Alper İpekçi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Monge Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rey Parga's late challenge caught a Barcelona Sporting Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rey Parga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sal Rom F.C.'s Rey Parga got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Sedeño to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Santiago Sedeño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona Sporting Club's Esteban Dreer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Xurdin Rendon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sal Rom F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Alper İpekçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sedeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Dreer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Monge Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alper İpekçi in the 76th minute of the match. Barcelona Sporting Club's Roberto Mendivil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Monge Lima in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alper İpekçi in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monge Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sedeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Monge Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Catalusci in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alper İpekçi in the 89th minute of play forced Sal Rom F.C.'s goalkeeper Monge Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
