The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 11 minutes, Henry Ritter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Ritter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Filosofía Callejera-HDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilmer Reguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, GOMEZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pancho Noguer came free, but Paz Ungo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosario Rezabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yago Cortada in the 19th minute of play. Wilmer Reguera's late challenge caught a GOMEZ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilmer Reguera helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Filosofía Callejera-HDP getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wilmer Reguera hit a great ball. Henry Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Filosofía Callejera-HDP's Paz Ungo threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pancho Noguer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, GOMEZ F.C.'s Paz Ungo got control of the ball when Traian Preda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosario Rezabal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Ritter to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Preda in the 53rd minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Paz Ungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Henry Ritter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GOMEZ F.C. and the Filosofía Callejera-HDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Henry Ritter hit a great ball. Rosario Rezabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yago Cortada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Ritter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Rezabal having to interfere. The supporters of Filosofía Callejera-HDP booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Santamaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Pancho Noguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GOMEZ F.C.'s Paz Ungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pancho Noguer in the 96th minute of play.
